Terms of Service

Slideshow is a mobile application that helps users discover nearby restaurants and venues through a swipe-based browsing interface. The App uses third-party data (including Google Places API) to display venue information, and offers features such as saving favorite venues, a recommendation feature ("Decide For Me") that suggests a venue based on your saved preferences, ratings, and reviews, and a shared decision feature ("Group Slide") in which several people swipe on the same set of venues to reach a match.

Slideshow is a discovery and recommendation tool only. We are not a restaurant, a reservation service, or a party to any transaction between you and any venue. We do not guarantee the accuracy, availability, pricing, or quality of any venue listed in the App.

To use Slideshow's standalone features, you must create an account and hold an active subscription (see Section 3). You may join a Group Slide as an invited guest without an account (see Section 4). You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information when creating your account
• Maintain the security of your password and account credentials
• Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account
• Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account

You choose a display name for your account. Your display name is shown to other people in any Group Slide you host or join, so do not use a name you are not comfortable sharing, and do not impersonate anyone else. You may change it at any time in Account settings.

You may also upload a profile image. It is shown to other members of any Group Slide you host or join. You are responsible for the image you upload, and you must have the right to use it.

You may delete your account at any time from within the App, under Account settings. Deletion permanently removes your profile, your uploaded profile image, saved venues, ratings, decision history, and group participation. It cannot be undone. Deleting your account does not cancel an App Store subscription; cancel it in your Apple Account subscription settings.

Slideshow requires a paid subscription for standalone use, including discovery, saving places, Decide For Me, and hosting Group Slide.

• Price. The subscription costs $12.99 per month in the United States. Prices in other regions are set by the App Store and may vary.
• Free trial. New subscribers receive a 3-day free trial as an introductory offer. The trial runs for 3 days. At the end of the trial, your subscription begins automatically and you are charged the monthly price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends. If you cancel during the trial, you will not be charged.
• Automatic renewal. Your subscription renews automatically each month until you cancel. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase and on each renewal.
• Cancellation. You can cancel at any time in your Apple Account subscription settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period, and you keep access until then.
• Payments and refunds. Apple, not Slideshow, processes payments and handles refunds for App Store purchases. Refund requests must be made to Apple.

A person invited to a Group Slide session hosted by a subscriber may join that session, swipe, and take part in matching without a subscription or an account, by entering a group code and a name. Guest access is limited to that session. It does not include standalone discovery, saved places, Decide For Me, or hosting a Group Slide.

Group Slide sessions support up to 8 participants, including the host. When you host or join a group, the name you use and your participation are visible to the other members of that group, and the matched result is shared with everyone in the session. Do not share a group code with anyone you do not want to have access to that session. You are responsible for the name you enter and for your conduct within a shared session.

We may change the subscription price. Existing subscribers will be given notice in accordance with App Store rules, and any increase will not apply to a current paid period.

We may grant complimentary, beta, or tester access to the App or to paid features. That access is provided as-is, may be limited in duration or scope, and may be modified or revoked at any time at our discretion. Feedback you send us about the App may be used to improve it without obligation or compensation.

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App, our systems, or other users' accounts
• Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the App
• Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access the App without our prior written consent
• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation with any person or entity
• Upload a profile image that is unlawful, sexually explicit, hateful, or infringes someone else's rights, or that impersonates another person

We may remove a display name or profile image that violates these Terms.

Slideshow may limit or suspend access where usage is automated, abusive, or materially inconsistent with normal personal use.

The App displays information sourced from Google Places API, including venue names, photos, ratings, and addresses. We do not independently verify this information and are not responsible for its accuracy. Directions and phone-calling features may link to or open third-party services (such as Google Maps or your device's phone dialer); your use of those services is subject to their own terms.

The App, including its design, logo, features, and underlying software, is owned by Slideshow LLC and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the App without our prior written consent.

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that venue information will be accurate or current.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Slideshow LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to your reliance on venue information, recommendations, or third-party services linked from the App.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at our discretion, including for violation of these Terms. You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date above and, where appropriate, through notice within the App. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
